Pink and White Lotus Flowers in the Kuan Yin Buddhist Temple (International Buddhist Society, Richmond, BC)

For Father’s Day, my immediate family kindly indulged my addiction to taking pictures of Buddhist temples and gardens. We went to the Kuan Yin Buddhist Temple (more easily found by the term International Buddhist Society) in Richmond, BC. Long-time readers of this blog will remember my previous visit there, when I took my all-time favourite photograph there (first one after the link).

On this visit, I was sporting a better camera, but I don’t think I was able to really create the kind of images that would do proper justice to this temple, and I was hampered by my 14-42mm kit lens (the only lens I have for my camera). Nevertheless, here are some of the better ones of the lotus flowers.

The Kuan Yin Buddhist Temple is on of my favourite Buddhist temples in the world. The first reason for this is that it has a garden. The second reason is that it is not too far away from my home. I hope to go back many times to enjoy the temple and be inspired by it.
