Mini Reverse-Coloured Zen Rock Garden

Mini reverse-coloured Zen garden 8

The above is my playful tribute and joke in reverse colours on the famous Zen rock garden at Ryoanji in Kyoto, Japan. Ryoanji is one of the premier works of art in the world, and is justly celebrated for its startling minimalism.

By the way, the only thing I had to pay for was the decorative sand ($4.99 at Michael’s). The container lid and rocks were free.
